Polish translation of “Essential Guide to Doing Transition” -  A collaborative translation project

In the academic year 2020/2021, students participating in online specialisation classes created the Polish translation of “Essential Guide to Doing Transition” Essential guide to doing Transition - Transition Network, i.e. the guide to a grassroot pro-ecological and pro-social movement initiated in the UK by local communities.

The translation was prepared with the aid of cloud-based CAT tools thanks to the Memsource Academic Edition granted to the Chair for Translation Studies ( Student CAT Tool Training | Memsource ).

The students-translators cooperated with a JU doctoral student, Aleksandra Jaszczyk, M.A., who specialises in local communities and grassroot initiatives, doing her research at the Faculty of Management and Social Communication, Jagiellonian University.
