dr Mariusz Marczak

Assistant Professor at the Chair for Translation Studies and Intercultural Communication. A graduate of the Faculty of Philology at the University of Łódź. He holds a PhD in Linguistics, which he obtained at the University of Warsaw. He is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Translator Education and Translation Studies and the Secretary of the Consortium for Translation Education Research (CTER). Professionally he specialises in website localisation. He teaches a specialization course, involving telecollaborative team translation of LSP texts, CAT Tools and Postediting, Economic translation an MA seminar which focuses on: the use of digital technologies in translation and issues in contemporary translator education.
