Between 2017 and 2018 the students of the Chair for Translation Studies: Magdalena Brol, Agnieszka Głowacka, Justyna Kudyk and Marta Pasiut participated in a research project named Knowledge of the assessment criteria of witness credibility assessment and the quality of translation within the specialised course taught by dr Katarzyna Liber-Kwiecińska. The project involved 20 translators, who were trained in the field of criteria of witness credibility within the project; their aim was to translate the given testimonies, which were later analysed by 40 competent judges. The project resulted in a publication: Equivalence of Written Translation in the Context of the Assessment of the Credibility of Witness Testimony, published in the “Między Oryginałem a Przekładem” journal.
