§ 10 (6) of the Regulation: “Upon a student’s motion the Dean agrees to register the student to the succeeding year of study in the case of acquiring at least 50 ECTS credits within dates referred to in § 9 (2) (3) or (4) sentence 2 (dates for passing a year of study) and meeting other conditions specified in a study programme (conditional registration). Study programme may allow the possibility to use the above mentioned registration also in the case of failure in completion of conditions for passing a given year of study, determined in a study programme. In the case referred to in point 2 (b) hereinabove the faculty council may determine lower number of ECTS credits required for a conditional registration”.
§ 10 (10) Regulation for Studies “The motion referred to in § 10 (6) hereinabove shall be filed by a student before the commencement of the academic year for which the student wants to be registered. Where courses must be retaken, the student shall specify the retaken courses in the motion”.
Those who accumulated no more than 49 ECTS credits shall submit a correctly fulfilled motion (WNIOSEK) for permission to repeat a year of study to the Secretary Office of the Chair for Translation Studies before September 30th.
§ 14 (1) Regulation for Studies “Upon a student’s request, the Dean may allow the student to retake the year if the student has not enough ECTS credits to register for the following year of study or if the conditions referred to in § 10 (7) or other conditions necessary to pass the given year of study in accordance with the study programme are not met. When retaking a year of study, the student has the right to participate in classes and sit exams planned for the following year, unless such a participation is made impossible by the sequential system of classes and exams or by the fulfilment of other conditions provided for in the study programme.”
§ 14 (2) Regulation for Studies “A year may only be repeated once (…)”.
§ 14 (3) Regulation for Studies “A year may not be repeated if the first year of studies has not been completed (…)”.
The students who have failed to obtain the required number of ECTS credits to complete a given year of study must submit a correctly fulfilled motion (WNIOSEK) for permission to retake the year of study to the Secretary Office of the Chair for Translation Studies by September 30th.
§ 14 (4) Regulation for Studies “In justified cases, once in the course of study, the Dean may give permission to repeat the same year or another year of study”.
